The second message.

01 · The problem

A new chat throws away the almost-right draft. The second message should keep the parts that work and move one thing.

02 · The prompt

Point at the last answer. Say what stays. Change one variable.

Keep, then move

Keep the two-sentence length and the calm voice. Change only the reader: write it for a parent, not a visitor. Do not add a title.
03 · Try it

This prompt assumes a previous answer. If you are starting cold, paste a short draft above it first.

Illustrative answer — written for this lesson, not a live model

The moon is not a lamp. As it moves, we see a different slice of the half the sun is lighting — that is all a phase is.

04 · What you made

A second-message shape: keep / change / do not add. Use it instead of starting over.
